1. It is the most natural form of male combat, satisfying a deep primitive urge to fight
2. It releases all sorts of endorphins leading to a prolonged feeling of physical and mental contentment after the shittiest of days/weeks
3. It promotes strength, flexiblity, cardio fitness, balance and coordination (and it burns 900 calories and hour which ain't bad!) and that wonderful thing that the gym doesn't offer - the wrestler's build...
4. It demands cunning, tactics, clear thinking under pressure, endurance, and a sense of balance position and leverage (here's the Pepsi challenge - try rolling around with a non-wrestler after a good match and feel the difference!)
5. It is funny, joyous and full of life - after all when two or more middle aged men are gathered together in lycra shorts you'd better be laughing on the inside at least!
6. It is dignified, gentlemanly, courteous and accommodates no prejudices or bigotries
7. It is an excuse to wear speedos - oh yes it bloody well is so don't deny it - but it needs no other weapons or kit or belts or endless gradings
8. It is a reason to stay fit (as I found out to my cost the other day)
9. It is friendship and respect creating an opportunity for a non-sexual bond between gay and straight men from around the world
10.It is masculinity personified with a pedigree that stretches back as far as the human race

Wonderful reason to wrestle! It also is a means of staying young. The most erotic sport for men to participate in.
