That's right. ITV have recently tried to resurrect A wrestling programme in its output but it doesn't compare to WoS. The latest show is a tacky showbiz circus.

Was that ever aired? I looked out for it but must have missed it. I remember it being filmed but then it seemed to disappear and I assumed that TV channel had pulled the plug

Yes, was put out round about Christmas last year. There is talk of them bringing back a regular, weekly programme but if it's like the one-off, it won't be worth watching.

Someone recently asked me a very good question: was there a difference between WoS and Brit Pro?

There isn't a difference between WoS and Brit Pro. Between 1955-1988, the British wrestling was a big part of a sports programme on television called 'World of Sport'. Since then, the old British wrestling is affectionately referred to as 'WoS'.

Hope this helps.
