Why there is no Veteran Freestyle Wrestling Clubs

You have to find regular clubs and talk to coaches. Compete in tournaments that are open to all. Including old timers and fat and bald classics. Only way you will be able to join these clubs is by showing them you seriously want to compete and be ready to pay their fees. Plenty of places are starting to open their doors to veteran aged guys but you cannot be creepy about it and remember that they will also be training kids and teenagers too. No you wont find just a veterans club and certainly not one that will train every day otherwise. Good luck and i hope this helps.

there is a USA Wrestling National Event every year in Las Vegas and there is a Veteran Division. So how can I train for it if there are no clubs?

There are very few adult wrestling clubs in the U S.Most do not restrict practice by age. Go to themat.com to find affiliated clubs. You might alsofind a jiujitsu school in your area that offers no-gi jiujitsu, some even offer wrestling classes. Usually age is not an issue (it isn't where I train here in Las Vegas)..hope this helps

Oh and nothing is impossible if you put your mind to it. I taught myself the sport. Without clubs or coaches.
